Behind the scenes, data science is changing the way cricket gets played. Many teams now have data analysts in their dugouts who contribute to game strategies. In a sense, cricket is witnessing the Moneyball revolution that had a path breaking impact on Baseball. So in view of the 2019 ICC World Cup, we got together to discuss this role of data science and economics in cricket. Our guest is Karthik Shashidhar, a management consultant, uber-blogger, and an author.
